The mission of the Somerville High School Athletic Hall of Fame Committee is: 

• To select Somerville High School Athletes to a “Hall of Fame”, where their achievements will be set forth for honor and esteem in grateful thanks for their contribution to Somerville High School and the community of Somerville. 

• To honor others who have made distinctive contributions to the athletic program at Somerville High School.

• To honor persons who attended Somerville High School and have attained special athletic achievement whether or not they lettered or participated in high school sports. 

• And to raise funds to be used for awards for senior student/athletes.
